Oh boy, time to upgrade! The Earth Classic 2 is now available!
Earth Shoes are slightly lower at the heel than at the toe. This "Kalso Negative Heel Technology" feels strange at first, but after a while it mostly gives the impression that you are walking in sand.
I wear my Earth Shoes when I want to approach the day fresh and confident- it makes my back tall and straight, and differentiates me from the "normal" people with higher heels than toes. Created by a Danish Yoga teacher, Earth shoes have made a comeback of late, after being only on the margins of the US market since the 1970s.
Many styles are available. The versatile Men's Classic model is one of my favorites. They are casual enough for wearing around town, but formal enough to be worn to many business engagements. Like VW Beetle owners, Earth wearers are known to stop you and say "Hey, are those Earths?." My Earths are my favorite shoes.
